DreamCloud is made by DreamCloud Holdings LLC. The company launched in 2016 and has already expanded to several countries. DreamCloud Holdings also manufactures the excellent Nectar mattress.

Firmness

DreamCloud only offers one medium firm comfort option. According to reviews, people find the DreamCloud sleeps a bit firmer than other medium-firm plush-topped mattresses. But it's perfectly comfortable for most people, regardless of the physique or sleeping position. We'd rate the DreamCloud's firmness at 6.5-7.0 with 10 being too firm.

Delivery & Returns

The DreamCloud comes compressed and rolled into a cylinder case like a really big sleeping bag. While you may need help setting it up, it will expand quickly and be ready for use quickly.

Standard shipping to your doorstep is free, but you can also pay an additional $149 for White Glove setup and removal of your old mattress.

They strive to ship within 24 hours of your order and to deliver to your door within 1-5 business days. A realistic time frame for delivery is more like 2-3 weeks. The mattresses are popular and keeping up with the demand has been a challenge for the company that launched this mattress at the beginning of 2018.

Mattress Construction

Quilted Euro Top

The topmost layer gives the DreamCloud mattress its signature plushness. It’s super soft, allowing you to sink comfortably into the mattress.

Technically, the top layer contains the cover plus the first two foam layers of 1″ and o.5″ each, wrapped together in a single unit.

Gel infused memory foam (Comfort Layer)

This material provides 1.5″ of pressure relief and cooling. The memory foam contours around your body to relieve pressure on your hips, shoulders and other pressure points. The gel dissipates excess body heat away from the mattress.

Soft conventional foam (Support Layer)

This 2.5″ thick layer of soft foam provides further compression support and spreads your weight evenly across the mattress.

Pocketed innerspring coil (Support Layer)

The 8″ coil layer forms the support core of the mattress while ensuring you get the contouring you need to sleep comfortably. The coils also help with airflow and edge support and reduce motion transfer.

High-density conventional foam (Foundation Layer)

A 1.5″ high-density foam base provides overall mattress support and longevity.

Mattress Cover

The quilted cover of the DreamCloud is really luxurious. It’s made of polyester, which makes it tear-resistant and soft, plush and durable.

For longevity, the cover is quilted to ensure that the layers inside do not shift with time. Just note that if you don't use a mattress topper/protector or another sheet layer on this mattress, you may feel the quilting through the top sheet.

Finally, the cover is unfortunately not removable, so you can’t unzip it to clean stains. I recommend using a mattress protector or an extra sheet or two to keep it clean.

Bottom Line

The DreamCloud luxury hybrid mattress was built to give sleepers a dreamlike sleeping experience.

lt's a tall order, but the company goes all out to chase that goal: innovative fabrics and materials, the latest technology, one of the thickest profiles in the industry, a 365-day trial period and a lifetime warranty.

Basically, DreamCloud has tried to do everything it can to assure you will not want for or need another mattress for the rest of your natural life.

The warranty guarantees you a new mattress at no charge to you for the first 10 years if DreamCloud confirms there was a defect in the materials or workmanship. After that, DreamCloud will repair, recover or replace your DreamCloud if/when it can verify the defects exist.

DreamCloud built what they want to sell as the best mattress on the market with eight layers of quality foam, fabric, and coils. That’s more than other mattresses. One of the layers is patented. A second is patent-pending. The 365-day trial period is three times as long as any other period.

Those layers do cushion the body, especially for lighter to medium weight customers and those who prefer to sleep on their back or side. Your spine will thank you. You'll avoid pain from too much pressure on your hips, tights, back, and shoulders thanks to how well it contours to your body. But if you're heavier or want to sleep on your stomach, this medium-firm offering may not be firm enough to support you.

There is no risk to give the mattress a try. If it works for you, you'll be sleeping pretty for a very long time.
